Ensuring Quality and Integrity: PRCA’s Commitment to American-Made Paper Receipts, GMP Standards, and Combatting Illegal Imports

PRCA is steadfast in its mission to uphold the highest standards in the U.S. paper receipt industry. Through rigorous Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and proactive regulatory compliance, PRCA members guarantee their customers receive high-quality products consistently. By combatting illegal importers and ensuring compliance with American trade laws, PRCA not only protects consumers but also helps sustain domestic businesses.

Upholding Good Manufacturing Practices

PRCA’s GMPs establish comprehensive manufacturing standards designed to maintain product quality and consistency. Members adhere to these practices to ensure that each product meets the high standards that customers expect. This adherence creates trust and reliability within the industry, ensuring that every roll of thermal paper is manufactured under optimal conditions and meets all specified requirements.

Ensuring Regulatory Compliance

PRCA members are committed to complying with all global, federal, and local regulations, including U.S. FDA requirements and specific mandates such as California’s Proposition 65. This compliance ensures that every aspect of the production process, from raw material procurement to final product delivery, meets legal and safety standards, protecting consumers and promoting fair competition.

Proudly American Made

PRCA is proud to support American manufacturing. Our members’ products are made in the USA, ensuring higher quality and reliability compared to many imported goods. By keeping production domestic, PRCA helps create more U.S. jobs, uphold workers’ rights, and stimulate the American economy. This commitment to American-made products supports local communities and contributes to national economic growth.

PRCA helps facilitate commerce by ensuring the availability of high-quality, domestically produced thermal paper. By supporting American manufacturers and upholding trade laws, PRCA contributes to a fair and competitive marketplace. This, in turn, helps bolster the American economy, ensuring that businesses can succeed, and consumers can trust the products they purchase.

Addressing Illegal Imports and Duty Evasion

PRCA has taken a proactive stance against illegal duty evasion in the U.S. paper receipt industry. By working closely with the Department of Homeland Security’s Customs and Border Protection (CBP), PRCA aims to protect the domestic market from unfair competition. PRCA actively investigates and exposes schemes that misclassify the origins and contents of imported thermal paper rolls to evade antidumping duties. PRCA is dedicated to ensuring compliance with American trade laws and maintaining a level playing field for domestic manufacturers. By adhering to these practices and actively combating illegal imports, PRCA ensures the U.S.  paper receipt industry remains competitive, reliable, and transparent, ultimately benefiting consumers and domestic businesses alike.
